Happy 2021 - Veganuary

Friday, 1 January 2021

If you're reading this you survived 2020, way to go it wasn't easy, and 2021 isn't going to be a picnic (wait, please say there is still picnics with friends in my future though), but we're going to smash it anyway! Are we doing resolutions this year? I have made one, it's more of a commitment, and it's to focus HeartStreet on sharing and supporting small vegan and cruelty free businesses. I tried to continue the blog how I was but I need to go with my heart, and I have so much love for independant sellers so if you want to be featured please contact me.

If you're not vegan, maybe thought about it and not sure where to start Veganuary is a great place to start. Why not try a plant-based diet for January and help protet the enviroment, prevent animal suffering and inprove your health. I give it a try in 2017 and am now celebrating my 4th veganniversary :)

It can be a little daunting, don't worry you don't have to survivive on salads (but oh my god salads can be unreal). Here are some familar names offering some great things to try this year. Check your Tier and see if you can order takeaway and keep safe

Greggs Vegan Sauage Rolls Iceland

The amount of vegan sausage rolls I have cosumed since they launched in 2019 is obscence. I wear my pin with pride, and lets not talk about the number of vegan steak bakes (they are my favourite vegan treat, I'd take them over chocolate seriously). And now Greggs have teamed up with Iceland answering the prayers of vegans everywhere.

* Frozen Vegan Steak Bakes pack of 2 £2.50

Try it yourself

If those aren't tickling your fancy why not cook something for yourself? These will definately have something you will love and are great places to start
